I have a HP Laptop that have preinstalled a window 10 home edition, the laptop is around 10years old and CPU is not supporting the Window 11, here are the hardware details of my laptop
"Laptop Specification OR Hardware Details"
CPU = i5 1.7GHz
RAM = 16GB DDR3
Disk = 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD
Graphic = Intel + AMD Radeon 2GB
Issue:
Can not upgrade window 10 to 11 due to error "This pc doesn't currently meet windows 11 system requirements" or "the processor isn't currently supported for windows 11"
Workaround:
- Open the Registry Editor - Search regedit
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup
Create a new DWORD
Right Clink --> New -- DWORD (32-bit) Value
Name of new DWORD entry = “AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU”
Double-click on the new value "AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU" and update the Value data field from 0 to 1
Hit OK and close the registry editor, restart and check again.
If issue did not resolve try this alternative method
1 - Download the mediacreation.exe tool from Microsoft
2 - Create ISO or bootable Pendrive and install
