You can remove any distro from WSL using below steps 

Open the Command prompt as Administrator and execute below command 

A - Remove Kali linux 

winget uninstall --id kali-linux

B - Disable the VirtualMachinePlatform 

dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /norestart

C - Disable Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux

Press Y for restart the machine
